[Sprout June] Mental load, siblings rivalry, stretching child in Math

Hi Reader!

During yesterday's coaching call, we dive into something many of us feel daily but rarely talk about: the mental load of parenting.

You know that feeling when you're doing task A but already thinking of B and C? When your brain is juggling school logistics, grocery lists, your child’s mood, and your own exhaustion...all at once? That’s the mental load. And it’s heavy.

In our parenting reflection yesterday, I shared some powerful takeaways from the book How to Stop Losing Your Sh*t With Your Kids by Carla Naumburg. It’s full of honest, humorous strategies that help us reclaim some headspace, even when the kids are right beside us.

Here’s a sneak peek at a few ideas we talked about:

  • Stop multitasking
  • Let your kids wait
  • Don’t interrupt a happy child
  • Let boredom do its job
  • And most importantly, stop taking everything so personally

and more!
